The radio soap opera 'New Home, New Life' is broadcast throughout Afghanistan three times a week in the two main languages, Dari and Pashto. Written and produced by Afghan writers, actors and technicians, the show reaches an estimated 70% of the population. Besides entertainment, 'New Home, New Life' provides information on health care, social issues, agriculture and landmine awareness to an educationally impoverished society.
